Hawley Ellicott, Lisa Rinnhofer (on her Premier Division debut) and Jamie Fellows played in the Premier last night for The Braves against Curdworth. Lisa beat Steve Smith (Jnr.) and Jody Bevington. Hawley won all three and beat Michael Bree who is joint top of the averages. 5-5 draw. Amazing result guys.
In the other room, the Aces also drew with Continental Stars. Ben Willson was great and won his three, beating Lester and Steve Bertie and John Collymore. I struggled against my bogey player Lester but managed to beat Steve after being 10-6 down in the 5th. Ben and I won the doubles. Lee ( Holtham ) didn’t get into it and John Collymore played well last night.
A tough night for some of us but a great result for the next generation.
