Today (June 16th) Nathaniel Saunders made the last 16 of the PG Mutual Nationals. He won his group and played some great table tennis. He was unfortunate to draw top England player Naphong Boonyaprapa in the U13 boys’ singles, losing 11-5, 11-5, 13-11. No disgrace losing a deuce game against the best in the land .Good luck tomorrow in the U12’s.
Last week Nathaniel won a national cadet title in Burton, beating Josh Webb. Josh got his revenge by beating Nathaniel in the semi-final stage of the juniors later in the day. Well done Josh.
